Brighton Considers Graham Potter for Head Coach Role

Brighton are considering rehiring Graham Potter as head coach after parting ways with Roberto De Zerbi last month. The Seagulls initially showed interest in Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna, but he recently signed a new four-year contract with Ipswich.

According to The Athletic, Brighton's search for De Zerbi's successor is meticulous, and Potter, who previously led the team to a ninth-place finish in 2021-22 and a strong start in the 2022-23 season, is a potential candidate. Potter's tenure at Chelsea was less successful, leading to his dismissal after 31 games.

Potter, who recently turned down an offer from Ajax, still resides in Brighton and has close ties with the club's managing director, Paul Barber, which could facilitate his return. Additionally, former Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper is also under consideration by Brighton.
