Man United unlikely to complete permanent Amrabat deal He is expected to return to the Serie A club this summer, despite recent media comments – in which he claimed staying at Old Trafford is “certainly an option”. Amrabat made 30 appearances across all competitions during his loan spell at Man United this term – which reportedly cost the club £8.5million. 17 of those outings came as part of the starting lineup, with the 27-year-old playing both at left-back and in his natural defensive midfield role.
